Theo opens our new store at Butler Place SW1

We had a lot of fun at the opening of our brand new store at Butler Place SW1 recently.

If you are familiar with the area, you may have visited our former store in Victoria Street. The new store at Butler Place is even bigger and better!

Our Chairman Theo Paphitis cut the ribbon to open the store before rolling up his sleeves and serving the excited customers.

Small Business Sunday

Theo’s Small Business Sunday initiative continues to grow from strength to strength with over one thousand businesses participating each week. Theo held a special event for #SBS winners at Edgbaston stadium.

Over four hundred people came along to the event which was introduced by our CEO Kypros Kyprianou. Theo gave an inspirational talk about the challenges faced by business owners big and small. He also took the opportunity to launch the new #SBS website.

We were absolutely amazed by the reaction of the audience and would like to thank everyone who came along for making it such an incredible day.

Since the event, there have been over fifty press stories about #SBS winners up and down the country and Theo has been receiving more tweets than ever. He loves hearing from his enterprising friends.

If you are not familiar with #SBS, every Sunday Theo invites small business owners on Twitter to tweet him about their business (including the hashtag #SBS). Theo then picks his favourite six and at 8pm on the following day, he retweets them to his near 250,000 followers.

As the hundreds of #SBS winners to date will agree, it is a great way of promoting your business. Winners also get exclusive access to the #SBS website, filled with tips and advice from Theo himself.
