Ryman.co.uk Accessibility

The new Ryman.co.uk website has been designed to be as accessible as possible with consideration given to disabilities, browser limitations and user preferences at all times. Web Accessibility covers all disabilities including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive and neurological disabilities.

Good accessibility also benefits those without disabilities assisting with slow internet connections or temporary disabilities such as broken arms.

Many internet users with disabilities find viewing websites difficult, or even impossible. This can often be easily amended with the use of straightforward, easy-to-use language and navigation on the site, alternative text (alt text) for use when images cannot be displayed, disabling pop-up windows, and ensuring the site can be used by anyone with colour-deficient vision.

Under the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) Ryman is committed to providing an easy to use, accessible website.

Ryman has designed the website to meet the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Accessibility Initiative (W3CWAI) Level 2 (AA) guidelines, but are constantly striving to improve accessibility at all times.

To improve accessibility, the following changes can be made:
