Gift Card Terms and Conditions

Select the design you prefer. In store, you can add any amount up to £200 onto the card using any payment method normally accepted by Ryman Limited. Online, you can purchase giftcard choosing a value from £10, £25, £50 and £100. Any payment credited to the card which is subsequently dishonoured will result in that credit to your card being revoked.

1. Card Use :

a. The Ryman Gift Card, once validly activated, can be used as full or part payment for goods or services at Ryman Limited. If you do not wish to spend the entire value in one purchase, the purchase amount will be deducted from the total balance on the card.

b. No change or refunds will be given against the card balance where the sales transaction is for an amount less than the balance on the card but the balance may be applied to future purchases.

c. The card may be used for payment of goods at a higher price than the current card balance, on payment of the difference using an alternative payment method.

d. This card cannot be used to purchase gift cards, nor can the card (and any card balance) be exchanged for cash or used as a deposit on a credit agreement.

e. This card is not for resale.

f. The card will not be honored if it is subsequently sold.

2. The Ryman Gift Card is not a cheque guarantee, debit or credit card.

3. Gift Card Returns Policy :

The card is exempt from Ryman Standard Returns Policy. Ryman Gift Cards are non refundable. Where goods are purchased using a gift card and are subsequently returned or exchanged for goods of a lower price the refund amount will be added back to the balance of on the card or added to a new gift card at the till point.

4. Loading Card Value and Top Ups
Ryman Gift Cards can be loaded at any Ryman Store only – cannot top up online :

The minimum amount required to activate or top-up a card is £1 and the maximum card limit is £200. Ryman Gift cards can be charged using any payment method normally accepted by Ryman Limited. Any payment credited to the card which is subsequently dishonoured will result in that credit to your card being revoked.

5. Balance Enquiries :

Your current balance will be updated after every purchase or when you top it up. To check the balance on your card please present the card to a sales assistant at the till point.

6. Value Expiration :

If the card is not used for a consecutive period of 24 months (whether to make a purchase or top-up (instore only), the card will automatically expire and any remaining balance will be deducted.

7. Lost and Stolen Gift Cards :

Ryman Limited cannot be held liable for lost, stolen or damaged cards or any credit amounts on such cards. Ryman Limited are is not responsible for funds used without your knowledge.

8. Using Ryman Gift Cards Online :

a. At the shopping basket, enter the gift card number and the security code, under the scratch off panel, in the 'Payment method - Gift card' section. The security code is the three digit number behind the scratch-off panel on the reverse of the card. Place your order by clicking 'Submit order'.

b. If you wish to use your gift card to pay for an order on line, then the gift card balance must be used in full before you can select another payment method. Only after the total balance of the gift card is used, can the outstanding balance be paid for by the another payment method.

c. If you cancel or return an online order where payment was made using a gift card, you should do so in the usual way. Please note: any amount tendered with your gift card will be credited to a new gift card which will be sent out in the post.

9. Ryman Limited reserves the right to add to or waive these terms and conditions or discontinue the gift card at any time on reasonable notice for legal, security or regulatory reasons or in the event of circumstances beyond it's reasonable control. Your statutory rights are not affected. Customers will be notified in advance via in store displays and on this page (www.ryman.co.uk/Services/Gift-Cards/ ) in the event of any such change.
