A one button approach to document scanning, the ScanSnap iX500 is equipped with a host of in built functionality and bundled software to make document scanning as effortless and hassle free as possible.

Scan batches of mixed documents from business card to A4 through the 50 page ADF without concern for mixed sizes, thickness or quality. A3 size is even possible through the use of a bundled carrier sheet.

The ScanSnap iX500 can achieve impressive speeds and the inbuilt GI processor ensures that these speeds are achieved independent of the target device or connectivity.

The scanner will automatically detect the size of the document scanned and display a cropped image accordingly, scanned images will be automatically rotated, any scan skew eliminated, blank pages deleted and colour is detected to help minimise file size.

. View, manage, and edit PDF and JPEG files scanned with ScanSnap on a Windows platform. ScanSnap Organizer allows users to convert scanned PDF files into searchable content, embed custom keywords, attach to email or SharePoint, and remain productive with paperwork long after it is scanned. Additionally, the bundled ABBYY FineReader for ScanSnap will allow for the instant creation of totally editable Word, Excel and PowerPoint files.

. The bundled Nuance software allows users to read directly from cloud based applications and to save directly to cloud based applications

. The bundled ScanSnap Receipt software allows you to easily scan and extract information from your receipts, and even export the data for tax filing.

. With ScanSnap Sync built into ScanSnap Organizer software and the Scan Snap Connect app, captured documents are automatically synchronized with all your devices through Dropbox, Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive.

. ScanSnap Cloud - routes documents directly to your cloud accounts.

. ScanSnap iX500 can quickly and intuitively scan large volumes of business cards, extract the contact information, and place it into editable fields that can then be exported to Excel, Outlook Express, Sales Force and other contact managers.

. Normal mode permits the scanning of A4, A5, A6, B5, B6, Business Card, Post Card, Letter, Legal and Custom Size.

. The ScanSnap iX500 is fitted with a newly developed GI processing engine which means that users can now experience wireless operation of their scanner via a compatible Smart Device and the ScanSnap Connect Application downloadable from the Apple App store, Amazon App Store or Google Play.

    Really fast and easy to use

    I have used many scanners myself in the past as well as passing on to my clients, This model outdoes them all, It is very simple and easy to use and does not take up much room on your desk as well as being able to fold up the flaps so it is even smaller. It does double sided scanning in a very fast time frame also having the feature of taking the blank pages out making the file size smaller is great too.

    Great Scanner

    Bought this scanner for my office work. So easy to set up and easy to use. Converts easily to word etc and document can be stored in the organiser. Far superior compared to other scanners I've looked at.

    good quality products

    The notebooks and folders purchased earlier this year have sustained the same quality despite heavy load. this convinced me to purchase more folders and notebooks. The puka pad notebooks are segmented making study easier.
