Ryman has supported classrooms and teachers all over the UK for over 130 years. This year we need your help to thank educational staff for all of the help and support they provide children with at school each year.
We are giving families, friends and students of educational professionals the chance to nominate their Classroom Heroes and tell us why their nominee deserves to win one of our ‘Classroom Essential’ bundles worth over £130 and of course bragging rights!

What is a Classroom Hero?
A classroom hero is a Teacher, Teaching Assistant or other individual that is in an educating role for children and young adults from Reception to Graduation.
When can I nominate my Classroom Hero?
Our classroom heroes competition opens at 00.01am on Friday 14th July 2023 and ends at 23:59 pm on Monday 11th September 2023. All entries made outside of this time frame will not be valid.
How do I nominate a Classroom Hero?
To nominate your Classroom Hero simply complete our form at ryman.co.uk/classoom-heroes-2023. Ryman will choose the winners within 15 days of the competition end date.
When are the winners announced?
The 100 winners will be contacted within 15 days of the competition closing date (Monday 11th September 2023). Once we have confirmed their details we will publish all winners here: https://www.ryman.co.uk/competition-winners-list
How do I know if my nominated teacher wins?
If your nominee is a winner we will contact you within 15 days to collect further contact/postage information.
Can I nominate more than one Classroom Hero?
Yes, however multiple entries using the same email address for the same person will be invalid and only one entry will be submitted.
Terms & Conditions:
1.This competition starts at 00.01am on Friday 14th July 2023 and ends at 23:59 pm on Monday 11th September 2023. Any entries received before or after these specified dates will not be valid.
2.This competition is open to all individuals who are residents of the UK and aged 18 or over, excluding employees and their immediate families of Theo Paphitis Retail Group, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the competition.
3.By agreeing to these terms and conditions the participant confirms that they have the consent of the individual whose personal data is shared as part of the nomination.
4.By taking part in this promotion, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and by the decisions of the promoter, which are final in all matters relating to the competition.
5.For your entry nomination to be eligible, enter a first name and valid email address, nominee’s name and reason why.
6.Multiple entries using the same email address for the same person will be invalid and only one entry will be submitted.
7.By entering you will not be added to our mailing list or sent any marketing emails from the promoter unless you opt in to receive these communications.
8.The 100 winners will be chosen by the promoter based on the nomination reasons provided. The winning criteria is at the discretion of the promoter.
9.The 100 winners will be informed via email within 15 days of the prize draw closing date, the winners will then be sent the prize to gift to their classroom hero.
10.Winners have 48 hours to respond to their email, failure to do so will result in the prize being given to another entrant.
11.If a winner does not respond within the timeframe above then the prize will be awarded to another nominee.
12.The prizes are as stated and cannot be transferred or exchanged and after claiming a prize, winners must allow up to 28 days for delivery.
13.Prizes can be sent to UK addresses only.
14.All winners will be displayed on our website (https://www.ryman.co.uk/competition-winners-list)
15.Prizes are non-refundable and no cash alternative is available.
16.The promoter or its agencies will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of the promoter or its agencies. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry.
17.The promoter accepts no responsibility for any third party illegal or fraudulent action/inaction that may occur on or through the promotion, but reserves the right to take action against any third party it knows or has reasonable grounds to believe is responsible for such action/inaction. The promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any person it finds to be tampering or to have tampered with the operation of the promotion or the promotional website, or to be acting in violation of these terms and conditions.
18.Whilst we will always try to ensure that the promotional website is working as it should be, problems may occur from time to time. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any intermittent problems which may arise.
19.The promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify these terms and conditions at any time, and limits its liability in relation to such action to the fullest extent permissible under English law.
