Lycanroc V Battle Deck
Welcome to the Pokemon TCG: Lycanroc V Battle Deck! This deck is built around the powerful Fighting-type Pokemon Lycanroc V, plus other fantastic cards from the Sword & Shield Series. Lycanroc V leads a team of fighting types into battle!
Attack, then rest
Some of the Pokemon in this deck can do incredible amounts of damage. so long as they don't attack on the next turn. This includes your star, Lycanroc V1. It can only use its 200-damage Crashing Fangs attack every other turn, so you'll want to get it into play and powered up as quickly as possible.
Heavy Hitters
There are quite a few Pokemon in this deck that can do 180 or more damage. This should be enough to knock out almost any Pokemon your opponent has, other than their star Pokemon V. But these attacks also require a lot of Energy, so try to keep that Energy flowing with card draw.
A Swift Escape
Sometimes you will want to retreat your Active Pokemon to prevent it from getting knocked out. Other times you will want to switch your opponent's Active Pokemon out to their bench - especially if it's posing a serious threat. Escape Rope does both but it can be tricky to use properly. Make sure the Pokemon you switch into your Active Spot is ready to attack.
Evolve
Most of your powerful Pokemon are at least Stage 1, so you want to make sure you always have matching Basic and Stage 1 Pokemon. Evolution Incense can help you get the Stage 1 Pokemon you need, while Great Balls can help you find either part of the combination.
There are also plenty of Trainer cards in this deck to help you draw more cards. Every card you draw is an opportunity to have exactly the card you need in your hand at exactly the time you need it - and to have the right amount of Energy to use your Pokemon's big attacks
Corviknight V Battle Deck
Welcome to the Pokemon TCG: Corviknight V Battle Deck! This deck is built around the powerful Fighting-type Pokemon Corviknight V, plus other fantastic cards from the Sword & Shield Series. Corviknight V leads a team of fighting types into battle!
Pin Them Down
Corviknight V is the star of the deck and its two attacks offer a powerful one-two punch. Clutch is a cheap attack that doesn't do much damage but it doesn't have to - its real power is keeping the Defending Pokemon pinned down and unable to retreat while you build up enough Energy to unleash a Sky Hurricane for 190 damage!
Flipping Out
A few of your Pokemon have attacks that vary in damage depending on how many heads you flip. These are fun attacks than can do great things if you are lucky. or disappoint you if you aren't. Remember to hope for the best but be prepared for the worst!
Learn to Cook
One of the best ways to surprise your opponent is to heal a Pokemon that they were expecting to Knock Out on the next turn. Cook heals 70 damage, which can completely derail your opponent's entire turn. There's also a Potion for a bit of extra surprise.
Support from Shauna
Anytime you look at your hand and wish there was something different in it, Shauna can help. For best effect try to play as many cards from your hand as possible before playing Shauna - any cards you're holding will get shuffled into your deck, but then you get to draw 5!
